Naomi’s workshops are invaluable. From the very first class when I began implementing some of her ideas my participants noticed a significant change in the way I taught - for the better. Many remarked saying that I was really stepping up the classes, that the pace had changed and was more challenging and exciting.
I also found a renewed excitement about teaching Pilates. What I love about Nay Nay’s approach is freedom to explore movement and to question why we teach Pilates with a rigidity? Why have we always done it a particular way? Is it because that’s what we were once taught? Naomi encourages us to question everything and can back up with research when there are other and better ways to achieve objectives. She has even caused me to question certain objectives - why do we need to do this, what purpose would that fulfil in our participants lives.
I loved that each week there was a different focus and I can cherry pick ideas from all the sessions to create a really well rounded lesson plan in minutes (or even on the spot during class- shh don’t tell anyone!)

Although I could only participate live in one class & had to workout with the recordings of the rest, I loved it!
Naomi is so fun and innovative, but keeps it so simple at the same time!
The classes were a great way to show that you can be creative and not have to “reinvent” the movement!

In this 10-week series of classes we will cover themes requested by you.
Perhaps you lack the confidence to work with pregnant clients, mixed ability groups or you want ideas for incorporating the squishy Pilates ball in your sessions.
Whatever your requests,
you'll experience the movements in your own body and progress over the 10 weeks. You'll have the class plans which you can take, make your own and teach to your own clients.
We will focus on how the movements build and progress and how to keep that interesting in a modern group class environment.

I've been in the dance and fitness industries for over 20 years teaching the general public (gyms, studios, health clubs, community classes, private sessions), presenting across the World, managing studios, creating new concepts, training and assessing instructors as well as developing and delivering courses and workshops.
I absolutely LOVE mentoring and coaching instructors to become their best. We are all unique and those quirks are what make us special. I want to help you develop the confidence to really own your individuality and know that it is enough and you will find success in whatever you want your Pilates career to look like.
